Hospital Medicine

The Department of Hospital Medicine features physicians whose primary professional focus is the general medical care of hospitalized patients. Their activities include patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital medicine. Our main areas of research relate to patient safety, quality measurement and improvement, care transitions, medication management, and health literacy.
