Services

Federal Grant Support is a service provided to assist anyone at Ochsner who is interested in applying for government grants for research or other Ochsner-related purposes. We assist with electronic government grant submissions by reviewing grant forms, clarifying grant instructions, converting forms to PDF format, burning grants to CDs, and assisting in any other manner needed to submit government grants.

  • Liaison services between the investigator, National Institutes of Health, and eRA Commons.
  • Tracking all grant application activity to insure timely completion of all required documents and approvals.
  • Developing and conducting classes and materials to assist persons wishing to write and submit government grants.
  • Maintenance of an intranet web page to assist with research and grant activities.
  • Development of grant resources (books, websites, etc.) for all types of research projects for clinical, basic science, nursing, administrative, and other types of funding needs.
  • Research on grant and other funding opportunities for individuals and departments.
  • Ongoing grant writing training through Noon Conferences.
