Medical Explorers Post is an afterschool program for high school students with a keen interest in the science and health care professions. The program is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of Southeast Louisiana Council. Students meet over the course of the Spring school semester for 1-2 hours each time, during which they participate in health care rotations, interactive science lectures, and departmental tours of Ochsner Medical Center–New Orleans. The Medical Explorers Post #1942 is made up of students from high schools across Jefferson and Orleans Parishes.
The 2010 Medical Explorers Post Rotation has concluded. Check back with us in early August for more information on joining the Fall 2010 Rotation!
