Post #1942 – Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans
Medical Explorers Post is an afterschool program for high school students with a keen interest in the science and health care professions. The program is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of Southeast Louisiana Council. Students meet one Wednesday each month for 1-2 hours, during which they participate in health care rotations, interactive science lectures, and departmental tours of Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans. The Medical Explorers Post #1942 is made up of students from high schools across Jefferson and Orleans Parishes.
