School Exploration Educational (SEE) Visits

see logoThe Ochsner Health System School Exploration/Educational (SEE) Visit and Site Tour Program is designed to help students affirm their career aspirations and explore the wealth of career opportunities within the world of health care. The program is intended to serve as an extension of the classroom learning environment, and programming is based on both the classroom curriculum and the goals and mission of Ochsner Health System.

What is a SEE visit?

  • Group field trip.
  • Ochsner campus tour.
  • Job Shadow Day.

Opportunities allow the students to:

  • Ask questions directly of health care professionals.
  • Observe the use of equipment.
  • Observe the work atmosphere.
  • Understand general skill requirements.

 

Job Shadow Application Form 

This form must be received in the Academic Community Outreach Office at least 3 weeks before the requested Job Shadow date.
