The Eleventh Annual Ochsner Health System Research Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2014. The Research Day Planning Committee wants this milestone occasion to include the widespread and enthusiastic participation of our physicians, staff scientists, medical residents/fellows, nursing staff, pharmacy staff and residents, and medical students located on ALL campuses/facilities of the Ochsner Health System.
The theme of Research Day 2014 is NEUROSCIENCES, and the planning committee is actively soliciting abstracts in this area. However, we also welcome submission of abstracts in any area of clinical, translational, and health services research.
In addition to the traditional evening poster viewing and networking reception, the daylong event will include podium presentations (submitters of outstanding abstracts will be invited to develop and present more in-depth presentations of their projects), a keynote address, and an employee poster viewing session for education credit.
Also, residents, medical students, pharmacy residents, and nurses will have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes.
