The Office of Research Operations handles the fiscal responsibilities related to basic science research and clinical trials. These responsibilities include the oversight of all contracts, budgets and grant administration. Contract and budget negotiations for clinical trials are managed through this office. Any principal investigator interested in participating in a clinical trial should contact Anne Nicolay, the Director of Research Operations. 

In addition to the contract and budget negotiations, we also process the charges for patient services covered by the clinical trial. Our office ensures that patients are not billed for services in conjunction with a trial. Any patient concerned about a possible error in billing should contact Beth Kettenring, the Research Funds Administrator.
