6th Annual Research Night

Overview  |  Abstract Submission  |  Poster Creation and Display  |  Educational Credits

Overview

Research Night is an annual event featuring the biomedical research of investigators within the Ochsner Health System. This group includes students of the Ochsner Graduate Medical Education program, as well as postdoctoral fellows, researchers, clinical residents and fellows, and nurses. The event includes a poster display and session with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

  • Clinicians and scientists in multiple disciplines gain an opportunity for cross-fertilization of scientific thinking and for the establishment of collaborations.
  • Investigators present recent studies and findings to the Ochsner community, enabling a better appreciation of the complexity and strengths of the OCF academic arm.
  • Opportunities for collegial discussion and the renewal of academic friendships.

Research Night is always an excellent opportunity for our investigators to present to the Ochsner community their recent studies and findings. This year's event will feature posters from clinicians, researchers, residents, fellows, allied health professionals, and nurses throughout the Ochsner Health System.

We hope to see you on May 12 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Brent House Atrium. Research Night is very informative and provides an opportunity to explore collaborative opportunities across the Ochsner Health System. For further details about the event itself, feel free to contact Rita Premo in the Medical Editing Office at (504) 842-7396.
