Nursing Research Council at OMC Jefferson

The Nursing Research Council exists to encourage and facilitate systematic inquiry of issues relevant to nursing practice and patient care outcomes. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month (except for November & December).

Goals

  • Dissemination and utilization of nursing research findings
  • Plan and conduct nursing and collaborative research
  • Develop evidence-based nursing practice
  • Continuing education related to the research process
  • Advance and ensure the conduct of quality research and other scholarly activities

Membership

Membership of the council includes members of the nursing staff, management, clinical educators, members from Research Department, and a representative from one of the Schools of Nursing. View member listing.
