Clinical Trial Listing

2008.014.N - Kidney Cancer and the effects of Sunitinib and Sorafenib
To determine if drugs Sunitinib or Sorafenib can prevent recurrence of kidney cancer and to compare the effects of Sunitinib, Sorafenib, or the placebo on kidney cancer and the participant.

2009.127.B - Metastatic Breast or Prostate Cancer, or Multiple Myeloma With Bone Involvement and the effects of Zoledronic Acid
This randomized phase III trial is studying two different schedules of zoledronic acid to compare how well they work in treating patients with metastatic breast cancer, metastatic prostate cancer, or multiple myeloma with bone involvement.

2010.096.N - Liver Cancer and the effects of Sorafenib Tosylate and Doxorubicin Hydrochloride
Sorafenib tosylate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as doxorubicin hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. It is not yet known whether giving sorafenib tosylate together with doxorubicin hydrochloride is more effective than sorafenib tosylate alone in treating liver cancer.
